What is the price per night? How much does a stay cost?
Our nightly rate is dynamic and varies based on two main factors: the selected period (weekdays, weekends, or public holidays) and the specific tiny house you choose (as each has its own unique features and amenities).

Do you offer discounts for longer stays?
Yes! We want you to have enough time to truly disconnect and explore the beauty of the Pădurea Craiului Mountains. That is why we have implemented a progressive discount system: the longer you stay, the better the nightly rate!
The discounts are automatically applied to the standard rate as follows:
2 – 4 nights: Standard rate
4 – 7 nights: 25% discount
7 – 25 nights: 30% discount
25+ nights: 45% discount
The corresponding discount will be automatically calculated and applied by the system when you select your desired dates in our online booking calendar.
How do I make a reservation and how is it confirmed?
Reserving your getaway is quick and easy, directly on our website.
Simply choose your preferred tiny house or select your desired dates, check the calendar for availability, and complete the booking form.
Confirmation: The confirmation is instant. Right after the payment is successfully processed, you will receive an automated email with all your reservation details.
What payment methods do you accept? Can I pay partially with holiday vouchers?
Our payment process is 100% online and fully secure. You can pay for your reservation using the following methods:
Credit / Debit Card: We accept secure online payments with all major cards (Visa, Mastercard) directly on our website.
Holiday Vouchers (for Romanian citizens): We accept full or partial payments using electronic holiday cards (Edenred, Up, Pluxee).
Partial Payment (Voucher + Bank Transfer): If your holiday card balance doesn’t cover the full amount of your stay, no worries! We will process the available amount from your voucher and issue an invoice for the remaining balance, which you can easily pay via bank transfer.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
As an intimate retreat with limited availability, honored reservations are essential to us. Therefore, our policy is as follows:
Free Cancellation / Rescheduling: You can cancel or reschedule your stay free of charge, provided you notify us at least 30 calendar days prior to your scheduled check-in date.
Late Cancellation: For cancellations or modifications made less than 30 days before arrival, the paid amount is non-refundable.
No-show: In the event of a no-show on the day of your reservation, the total amount will be retained as a penalty.
Please contact us as early as possible if there are any unexpected changes to your travel plans!
What is the minimum stay requirement? Can we book for just one night?
To truly unplug and fully enjoy the relaxing experience at Coniferis Retreat, our standard minimum stay is 2 nights.
However, we know that sometimes time is limited. If you are looking for a single-night stay, please contact us directly on WhatsApp. If we have an available slot (a one-night gap between other bookings), we will do our absolute best to accommodate you!

Where are you located exactly and how do we get there?
Our retreat is nestled in the heart of nature, in Tomnatic village, Vadu Crișului commune, surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Pădurea Craiului Mountains (Apuseni Mountains).

How is the access road? Can I reach you with a standard city car?
Yes, getting to Coniferis Retreat is easy and safe with any type of car (a 4×4 or off-road vehicle is not required). Most of the route is paved, and the last 2 kilometers consist of a gravel road that is well-maintained and perfectly accessible with a standard city car.
❄️ During winter: The road is regularly cleared of snow. However, since we are located in a mountainous area, proper winter tires are mandatory, and we highly recommend bringing snow chains just in case.
Do you offer private parking? Where can we leave our car?
Yes, we provide free private parking located right on our premises. The parking area is safe and easily accessible, allowing you to leave your car worry-free throughout your entire stay.
Can I charge my electric car at the location?
While we do not currently have a dedicated fast EV charging station, we do offer the option to charge your electric car using a standard socket (220V) on our property.
The cost for one charge is 100 RON. Please let us know at the time of booking or before your arrival if you plan to use this service, so we can ensure everything is set up for you.

How are the cabins positioned and what makes each unique?
All our cabins are strategically placed at a comfortable distance from one another to ensure complete privacy. While they all share the same premium comfort, each has its own special charm and unique benefit:
Luna: Nestled right in the middle of the conifer forest, offering maximum privacy and a true escape.
Tiramisu: Boasts a magical panorama, beautifully situated above a blooming lavender field.
Dyno: Features a relaxing suspended nest on the terrace with a perfect view of the conifer forest.
Pistacchio: Our Pet-Friendly cabin, the perfect choice if you want to bring your furry friend along.
Hypo: Alongside the outdoor hot tub, it features a cozy indoor bathtub placed right in front of a panoramic window, so you can admire nature while soaking.
Cappuccino: The large windows allow you to stay connected with nature from the comfort of your bed, while the private hot tub offers a luxurious spa experience under the open sky.
Do all cabins have a jacuzzi? Is it included in the price?
Yes, every single cabin features its own private outdoor hot tub, perfect for relaxing under the open sky. They are designed for year-round use, meaning you can enjoy a magical soaking experience even during the winter!
Cost: Access to the hot tub is an optional service and is not included in the standard accommodation rate. The fee for using it is 200 RON / stay (regardless of the number of nights).
Preparation: We want you to start relaxing the moment you arrive. Therefore, depending on our water change and sanitation schedule, we do our absolute best to have the hot tub pre-heated to the ideal temperature right at your check-in.
Do you have Wi-Fi? How is the internet connection?
Yes, each of our cabins is equipped with free Wi-Fi so you can stay connected with your loved ones.
However, please keep in mind that we are a secluded mountain retreat in the heart of nature. As a result, internet speed and stability may fluctuate depending on weather conditions or external technical factors from the internet provider, which are unfortunately beyond our control. We invite you to see this as a perfect opportunity to disconnect from screens and fully immerse yourself in nature!
Is the kitchen fully equipped? What do we need to bring for cooking?
Yes, each cabin features a fully equipped kitchen designed to provide all the comforts of home. You will find absolutely everything you need to prepare your meals:
Appliances: Airfryer for quick and healthy cooking (or a classic oven, available exclusively at the Dyno cabin), stove, and fridge.
Cookware & Tableware: Pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, mugs, cups, and various types of glasses (including wine glasses).
Complimentary items: To make your mornings and meals more enjoyable, we provide a coffee machine (with complimentary coffee) and tea, as well as cooking basics (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and other spices).
Basically, all you need to bring are the main ingredients for your favorite dishes!
What is the outdoor area like? Do you have a terrace, BBQ and cauldron?
Yes, nature lovers and outdoor dining enthusiasts have everything they need! To ensure your privacy and comfort, each cabin features a private terrace with outdoor furniture, the perfect spot to relax, sip your coffee, and fully enjoy your stay in the middle of nature.
In addition to the lounge area, each location has its own private BBQ area:
Classic Grill: The necessary firewood is already prepared and provided complimentary.
Gas Grill: The Luna cabin is the exception, equipped with a modern, easy-to-use gas grill.
Traditional Cauldron: We also have a traditional cauldron with a stand available. Please let us know if you’d like to use it, and we will gladly set it up for you
How is the temperature controlled? Is it warm in winter and cool in summer?
Yes, your thermal comfort is guaranteed regardless of the season! Our cabins are excellently insulated and equipped with modern systems to ensure the ideal temperature at all times:
Underfloor heating: Perfect for the colder months, it provides even heating and a very cozy, relaxing feeling indoors.
Air conditioning (AC): Every cabin features an air conditioning unit that you can use both for cooling down on hot summer days and for quick, supplementary heating, depending on your preference.
Do you serve food? Where can we eat?
While our resort does not currently have an on-site restaurant, we have made sure you have excellent dining options available nearby:
Traditional food delivery: Upon request, we can provide contact details for locals who can prepare and deliver delicious traditional food directly to your cabin, perfect for breakfast or dinner.

Can we rent bicycles directly at the location?
Yes! The Pădurea Craiului Mountains are a true paradise for cycling enthusiasts, offering spectacular trails for all levels, and exploring the area on two wheels is an experience we highly recommend.
For your convenience, we offer our own bicycle rental service. To ensure they are available during your stay, all you have to do is select and add them to your cart as an “extra service” right when completing the booking form on our website. We will make sure they are ready and waiting for you upon arrival!

What are the check-in and check-out times?
To ensure each cabin is thoroughly cleaned and perfectly prepared for your arrival, our schedule is as follows:
Check-in: anytime from 15:00 (3:00 PM) onwards.
Check-out: anytime before 11:00 AM.
Location Access (Self Check-in): We offer complete flexibility upon arrival! Access is simple and quick, using a self check-in system. Prior to your arrival day, you will receive all the necessary details from us, including the exact location of the secure keybox and the access code to retrieve your cabin’s key.
Are you a pet-friendly location? Can we bring our pet?
Yes, we love animals and are happy to welcome them! Currently, pets are allowed exclusively at the Pistacchio cabin, which is our dedicated pet-friendly location.
To ensure everything is properly prepared for your stay, please let us know that you will be bringing your furry friend at the time of booking.
What is your smoking policy? Can we smoke inside?
For the safety and comfort of all our guests, smoking of any kind (including vaping, IQOS, or other e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside all our Tiny Houses.
If you wish to smoke, you are more than welcome to use your private outdoor terrace, where ashtrays are provided. Please help us prevent fire risks and keep nature clean by disposing of cigarette butts only in the designated spots.
